After teaming up in the 1850's or something, Terry Dean and Gary Carruthers took duo-based live music to a whole new level.

Their trick has always been to sound uncannily like a full band without using backing tracks and such - even experts have been fooled. This organic quality has helped to form deep connections with a large and loyal following over many years.

Preferring spontaneity to a set list, D&C keep it fresh and fun even after thousands of gigs. Audiences also get to hear a variety of the finest quality musical instruments including acoustic, electric and lap steel guitars, mandolin, banjo, dobro and harmonica.

These skills also keep the pair in demand for recording sessions and live instrumental/vocal backing for many other touring artists such as Kasey Chambers; Troy Cassar-Daly; Kevin Bennett and The Flood... at some of this country's foremost music festivals such as Port Fairy; Byron Bay; Tamworth and Gympie.
