Andrew Daddo
It was during his carefree days of completing a BA at Monash University (majoring in politics and history) that Andrew Daddo was offered his first TV gig hosting a children's program- what started as a summer job has become a career spanning eighteen years, four networks, stage, screen, radio. In his latest endeavour as best selling children’s author, Andrew believes that his university years provided him with a wealth of ideas to draw on.
Currently working on the Great Outdoors for the Seven network, Andrew has moved around the television landscape with highlights including American MTV, Olympic Sunrise, 11AM, and the World’s Greatest Commercials. These are just a few programs in his portfolio.
Andrew has presented the International Advertising Festival in Cannes for the last four years, Ian Thorpe’s Foundation launch, the John Eales medal, The Lions v Wallaby series, The Tri nations, and numerous award nights around the country.
Andrew’s extensive background in media makes him one of Australia’s most accomplished and sort after presenters.
