Jo Pearson
Jo Pearson has worked as a senior prime-time television news reader, journalist, producer and reporter for over 20 years in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and the United States.
Jo was introduced to Melbourne audiences as a senior news reader with the Ten Network's Eyewitness News in 1982. In partnership with co-anchor, David Johnston, Eyewitness News became Melbourne's top-rating news service, with ratings that peaked at 40.
Jo became a national television identity working for the Nine Network in 1988, where her credits included hosting The Midday Show, Today , Coast to Coast, Live at Five and Body and Soul. She also co-wrote, co-produced and presented two documentaries for the Nine Network.
As a film or video presenter, Jo brings energy and credibility to the screen and speed and efficiency to the shoot. She is quick to memorise and deliver scripts that range from the highly technical to pure entertainment. Her extensive experience in film and television production is complemented by drama training. Jo is also an experienced voice-over artist.
Jo has worked throughout Australia and overseas as a public speaker and master of ceremonies at corporate conventions, conferences and incentive functions.
