Krishna completed her studies at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School in 2006 and is currently completing her final year in Bachelor of Music, specializing in Music Performance at the University of Melbourne. She is studying with Benjamin Martin, having previously been taught by Glenn Riddle and Professor Max Cooke.


Krishna holds a Licentiate Diploma in Music Performance Piano, from the A.M.E.B. In 2004, she was awarded a full scholarship for an International Music Exchange program to UK, where she studied briefly with Professor Murray McLachlan, and Mark Ray at the Royal Northern College of Music.


She has previously appeared as a soloist with the Grainger Ensemble and Preston Symphony Orchestra, performing concertos by Grieg and Mozart, as well as the 1st and 2nd concertos by Rachmaninov.

Her recent highlights include recitals on 3MBS’s radio ‘Live at the Convent’ Program, RMIT Young Performers Series, St. Hilda’s College Marjorie Smart Concert Series, the Austral Salon of Music & Art, 150th Anniversary of the City of Whitehorse and at the Historical Rippon Lea Estate.


A successful competition performer, Krishna’s accolades include the MSV Herbert Davis Memorial Award, the Maude Harrington Accompaniment Prize, the Lady Turner Exhibition Prize, the 2008 T Allen McKay Scholarship as well as being a prizewinner of the Faculty’s 2008 Chamber Competition. She performs regularly in Melbourne and is a chamber member of the Trio Absolut.
