Brian Fitzgerald Band

The Brian Fitzgerald Band has played an average of two and a half functions every week since 1980. This adds up to a pretty reasonable amount of experience. Surprisingly, there is no hint of boredom or lack of energy in their performances and this is probably why they keep getting re-booked for many of the gigs they’ve been doing annually for 15 years or more. These include debutante balls, weddings and working for the largest coorporations. The band’s huge range of experience means it has the repertoire to please any crowd. Brian plays keyboards, flute, saxophone, clarinet and a few other miscellaneous instruments. Garry plays guitar and can handle any style from mellow bossa to heavy rock. Garry and Brian both sing but the band is also lucky to have Melissa & Alana as featured vocalists. Although only in their early 20’s each girl each has an amazing range of experience to draw on. Melissa has worked with three bands previously as well as doing solo cabaret and television work and Alana has toured extensively with a band working at some of the top hotels in Asia and Europe.

The band usually works as a four piece but occasionally extends to ten or more adding brass and/or percussionist.
