The Mac Project, led by Melbourne vocalist MaryAnne McCormack, fuses the styles of Jazz, Pop with a dash of funk – delivered to you with absolute soul. Inspired by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Sarah Vaughan and Contemporary artists Macy Gray, Erykah Badu & Corinne Bailey Rae, this Melbourne singer/songwriter has joined forces with son of Melbourne’s top Jazz & Funk musicians to create this 4-piece outfit.
The perfect entertainment option for all occasions including corporate and private functions, The Mac Project can perform as a duo, trio or a Quartet with a horn section available on request. They regularly perform at many of Melbourne’s funky bars, clubs and piano bars - a night with The Mac Project is on you will never forget.
These young people have played in some of Australia’s most recognized music venues – Hammer Hall, The State Theatre and Jazz venues – The Paris Cat, Bennett’s Lane and The Apartment.
