Australian audiences have adored Alyce Platt since the early 80’s when she appeared on their TV screens via Sale Of The Century and Sons and Daughters.
She is also well loved in the music world. Alyce toured Australia with the Chantoozies and released her own EP, ‘Cowboys In The Attic’ to much acclaim. This sparked international interest, leading to gigs at the ‘Mink’ and ‘The Gig’ on Melrose in L.A. in 2001.
Alyce has stared on stage as well as TV and film: On The Beach, Blue Heelers, Good Guys Bad Guys, A Country Practice, State Coroner, Janus, Halifax fp…. Torch Song Trilogy, Sweet Charity, Love Letters, Cellophane Ceiling, Les Liaisons Dangereuses….
Currently Alyce has rejoined her former cohort Tony Barber for Foxtel television’s (TV 1) Cash Trivia Challenge which is seen at 8.30pm Monday to Friday. Like Sale Of The Century, Alyce not only presents the segment but also has the flexibility to put her own unique stamp on the roll.
