Free Selectors - Celtica

The Free Selectors are Melbourne based and professional's in Aussie Bush music and Irish songs. They began in 1983 on the stage of the Warrandyte Festival, a fun rollicking professional and experienced band. Performances include Bush Weddings in shearing sheds to Corporate events and conferences.

The band specializes in "calling" the dances, to any age group, any location, and to all nationalities! Appearing in numerous Australia Day celebrations and exclusive international functions for overseas visitors, The Free Selectors Bush Band's repertoire consists of Jigs, reels, waltzes and traditional Australian and contemporary songs. The dances are all expertly taught and called. Bush dances where small children attend are a treat, and special dances are created for little feet.

The Free Selectors can perform as:
Trio - guitar, bass, and then a choice of fiddle or accordion.
Quartet - guitar, bass, fiddle & accordion
Five pce - guitar, bass, fiddle, accordion & banjo or pipes.
Excelling as a bush band, who can also perform complete sets of Irish songs if your event is Irish Themed.
