Banjo Vincent
Banjo is a successful 28 year old Melbourne musician whose solo career exploded onto the live music scene in the outer suburbs of Melbourne in 2007.
After fronting a cover band for most of 2006, Banjo decided to go it alone to become an independent singer songwriter. His unique brand of strong acoustic rhythm guitar playing accompanied by a gentle yet powerful vocal range has made him a hit at many of Melbourne’s bars and restaurants.
Whilst Banjo has an extensive and ever growing list of cover songs, it has been his original music that has attracted widespread attention from all over Melbourne and beyond.
He has received radio air play on community radio stations such as 3MDR (Mountain District) and 3RPP (Mornington Peninsula), and has also played at music festivals such as The Big Gig 2009 and the P.A.V.E festival 2010.
Recently adding a backing band to his line up, Banjo has since played at some of Melbourne’s most popular venues. He is now working with the band to continue to write new material and hopefully record an album with the band in early 2011.
If its atmosphere and entertainment that you are after then Banjo is a must have for any restaurant, bar, venue, event, or festival.
