Award winning vocalist Lyn Gillett now permanently residing in Melbourne is a Jazz Vocalist, Composer and Voice Teacher/Vocal Coach, currently working on her Masters/Doctorate in Vocal Pedagogy, having received a Griffith Award for Academic Excellence 1999, Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, for completion of post graduate studies in Vocal Pedagogy.
Lyn is currently recording an album of her original songs, with collaborator pianist Adam Rudegeair, in Melbourne and has completed a recording of Jazz standards and original tunes, with Dr. Clare Hansson at University of Queensland in December, 09. Lyn also is part of the stylish ensemble “Sweet Groove” with Anita Paul.
