Rebecca Morton has worked in Theatre and Musical Theatre for more than fifteen years, singing works from opera to cabaret, Noel Coward to Sondheim. She has worked in capital cities around Australia, as well as Hong Kong and several times around rural Victoria. Her repertoire includes jazz standards and Broadway favourites; swing to dance to, blues to cry with, ballads to dream over and some Edith Piaf in immaculate French to elevate the soul.

Trained in Musical Theatre at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Rebecca has sung with the Victoria State Opera company, and the West Australian Opera company, and a sixties rock and roll trio called The Harlettes. She has been seen on stilts and on the trapeze in Barnum, the circus musical, and doing acrobatics in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Botanical Gardens. She was understudy to the lead in the Gordon Frost production of South Pacific and in 2002 toured Victoria with Almost Anything Goes, a Cole Porter show. She recently appeared at Chapel-off-Chapel in Prahran and the Castlemaine State Festival in The Sparrow and the Showgirl, her own cabaret show about Edith Piaf and Marilyn Monroe. Rebecca recently wrote and produced Moulins de Mon coeur - Windmills of My Heart at Chapel-off-Chapel as part of the Spring festival of Geishas, Lovers and Divas.

Rebecca is currently performing with "Flight Tonight”, an ensemble of 5 musicians from diverse musical genres who have come together to celebrate the passionate and poetic music of Canadian songwriter Joni Mitchell."
