Hard to start the blog when writing about someone in Cabaret has died. Melissa Madden Gray stage name Meow Meow, Australia’ the wonderful cabaret queen is alive have no fear and entrancing audiences around the world.
Alas Australia’s own Fifi L’amour died a few weeks ago. She was not young but young at heart and although baby boomers and alternative cabaret theatre goers of the late 70’s and 80’s were lucky to see her Fifi was taken by cancer and for the most part only her friends and acquaintances knew this.
